#FestivalOfWork Day 1 reflections…

I came along today ready for something different… the inaugural CIPD Festival of Work. A new offering from the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development. During day one I attended conference sessions, walked the exhibition floor, chatted to folk, took part in seated yoga plus mindful colouring on a giant colouring wall. All in a days work at the new CIPD #FestivalOfWork.

My pre #FestivalOfWork Thinking

It is always a pleasure to be asked to get involved with the CIPD conferences, this time it’s the #FestivalOfWork at Olympia in London.

I’m heading to the Conference and Exhibition on Wednesday 12 June. I’ve been invited to attend the conference as one of three people who will be sharing Festival updates and insights. I’ll be there all day, dipping in and out of conference sessions and walking around the free exhibition.

Speaking at the CIPD L&D Show 2018

I was delighted to be asked, by the CIPD,  to speak at their learning and development conference this year.

I was speaking in a session focusing on how L&D professionals can develop themselves. We spend so much time supporting others to develop, we often forget about ourselves. Read more

Asking How?

I’m really pleased to be attending both days of the CIPD’s Annual Conference and Exhibition (8 and 9 Nov 2017) this year (so excited, in fact, that I have already selected my conference sessions). I’m looking forward to hearing from a wide variety of excellent speakers all working within different organisational contexts. I like to hear about others’ experiences and the challenges they’ve had along the way. It’s really interesting to hear these stories and to get different perspectives.  Read more
